Description
The charred trees are slowly being covered over by beautiful and colorful wildflowers blooming where once a raging fire consumed the dead weight of the forest. Prescribed burns are done to rejuvenate the forest and bring life back to the area in this case one can easily see the results. This image was taken first week of august and the below image was taken the last week of May (2015). I tried to find the same place that I took the image below from, but it was difficult due to the charred trees just withering away. Sawback Range , Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada
