"Edgemont, NC Welcome Sign circa 1950s" is a painting of the welcome sign to Edgemont, NC that was well before my time. In fact by my time it was gone. But the thought of the old sign brings back wonderful memories of traveling to the North Carolina mountains with my family. We would visit our 3 room cabin practically every weekend.

When I was young all I could think about was becoming an artist. I didn't understand "making a living"; all I wanted to do is make art. Needless to say I didn't become an artist I went to college majored in accounting and became a CPA. For the last 29 years I have worked in the Construction and Real Estate field as a CFO for three different companies. I am now doing consulting work which gives me time for my art. Over the past two years I have drawn nonstop. In addition to the ink drawings I also love photography.
