Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Art Dodd is a self-taught photographer currently living in South Florida whos been photographing since 1975. Originally educated as an Electrical Engineer, he retired in 2010 to become a volunteer Florida Park Ranger at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. This gets him up close and personal with nature, one of his favorite subjects to photograph. He also enjoys travelling to and photographing other places. Various trips have taken him to places like Panama, Alaska, Maine, Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, and others. In addition to nature photography, he photographs events for District 8 (South Florida) and the Palm Beach Sail and Power Squadron of the United States Power Squadrons and has had photographs published in many of their newsletters.

Wonderful photo. I remember back in 1996 a wildfire (started by a train) almost destroyed our house but destroyed our barn. The flames were only two inches from the house when the fire department got there. Two huge pine trees near our house was chared, but they survived while many trees around us did not.
